Redefining Healthcare Systems through Digital Innovation

Join the inaugural hackathon organized by the Digital Innovation Studio @ CHI.

The Rock & Heal Challenge empowers innovators to transform healthcare through creative solutions. Fostering an environment that encourages out-of-the-box thinking and hands-on development catalyzes innovation and positive change in healthcare delivery.

Participants are expected to generate ideas and develop functional apps on AWS GenAI playground PartyRock, devising innovative solutions to tackle healthcare challenges. The solutions are expected to make a real-world impact with improvements in population health, patient care, operational efficiency, or resilience of healthcare systems.

Hackathon Structure:

Over four engaging weeks, teams will create innovative solutions from their ideas, refining their prototypes with the support of AWS mentors. Top 10 teams will present their pitch to a judging panel at the semi-finals on 10th July. Top 5 teams will advance to the finals on 11th July, and receive support from their cluster leaders to advance their innovations at their respective institutions. Winners from NHG will be fast-tracked onto the DIS platform.

Open to staff of all three public healthcare clusters, who are passionate about leveraging AI in health solutions. A diversity of applicants from multiple disciplines across clinical, nursing, allied health, pharmacy and administration are encouraged.
