Centre for Allied Health and Pharmacy Excellence (CAPE) is a strategic platform to further innovation efforts in Allied Health and Pharmacy.
CAPE provides an exciting platform for Allied Health Professionals and Pharmacists to drive innovation and training in health-social care integration, to optimise independence and quality of life for our population. Through CAPE, we hope to collaborate, co-learn, and co-create with partners across health-social sectors in the 3 identified key areas of community, trans-disciplinary, and tech-enabled care. We also hope to build thought leadership and continuously innovate our roles and care models as future-ready Allied Health & Pharmacy professionals.

The InnoSpark Series
Under the Communities of Practice (COP) learning series, provides a platform for Allied Health Professionals and Pharmacists to share insights, learnings, and challenges from their innovation journeys, aiming to inspire innovation within the community. Sessions are co-designed with invited speakers focusing on CAPE’s strategic innovation themes, such as Community Care, Workforce Transformation, and Tech-enabled Care.
The Elder Care Series
Born from the aspiration to extend care beyond hospitals into the community, fosters informal COPs among health and social care professionals.
"What Matters to You" Workshop Series
Aims to foster meaningful conversations to understand seniors' needs, promote behaviour change, and enhance their quality of life.
Allied Health Integrative Network (AHINet)
The Allied Health Integrative Network (AHINet) has designed a wide range of programmes to cater to the needs of Allied Health Professionals and Nurses in acute and community settings. These programmes aim to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to meet the challenges of caring for patients in an ever-changing healthcare environment. The training will be conducted through lectures, discussions, and activities.
Communities of Practice (COP)
For therapeutic horticulture bring together healthcare and social care professionals to explore and share the benefits of using nature-based activities for client engagement and well-being.
