The CHI Digital & Smart Health Office (DSHO) performs 3 key functions. We support digital enablement and automation, facilitate innovation prototyping and accelerate digital healthcare journeys and evaluate digital technologies and wayfind the adoption of new technologies in health.

We empower staff to form communities to learn how to use no-code/low code digital tools and provide technical coaching to support citizen developers to drive productivity. The “Hospital without Walls” programme incubates innovations and accelerates digital transformation journeys to create a seamless healthcare experience. Lastly, CHI DSHO aims to evaluate digital literacy and innovation to help wayfind through the implementation of new technologies into practice.

We work closely with our National Healthcare Group stakeholders to translate ideas to implementation, help innovations to scale and actively explore potential partnerships with institutes of higher learning, academia and industry to leverage digital technologies in healthcare to eliminate digital inequities and information asymmetry.
